LA’s a city with illustrious sights & enriching experiences. Our app is designed to promote the best choices & teach tourists about the rich histories throughout LA County. People can rate, save & share their experiences with future travelers to navigate the city with ease. BRAND This Is LA : Brand LA’s freeways are like veins that run throughout the city with a mix of modern & art deco architecture creating an eclectic & beautiful skyline. These slides show the key points of the branding process; brainstorming names, font selection, color palette & logo development. The final logo has a GPS icon with an abstract font relaying roads & the color green is reminiscent of the leaves on a sunlit palm tree. Process_Names Process_Sketch Process_Fonts&Colors Process_Names 1/4 UxUi This Is LA : UxUi The app will access a user's camera & GPS settings upon set-up. Scanning the QR code will open maps, track your location & preview nightlife & family events in the area. The intuitive design has limited functionality because we want users to immerse into the environments rather than toggling between screens. This geo-based app is perfect for tracking places you’d like to revisit. SCAN QR-CODE GPS/MAP VIEW TRIP CATALOGUE ENVIRONMENTAL This Is LA : Environmental QR CODE INSTALLATION Each location has a unique design highlighting history in the area: The Wizard of Oz was filmed in Culver City. I incorporated the Emerald City into 5’x5’ circular installations; the GIF shows the photoshop process to frame & mask the original image. I also replaced the GPS icon with a unique QR code & used emerald & teal to tie it back to the location's artwork.

BRAND Saraghina : Brand ‘Saraghina’ is a fish in the Adriatic sea & character from the musical ‘Nine’, whose song ‘Be Italian’ embodies the vibrance of our products. These slides show the key points of the branding process; brainstorming names, font selection, color palette & logo development. The final logo is an emblem whose ‘S’ resembles flowing silk & our name is engraved on a plaque. The colors gold, coal & wine red are reminiscent of the Renaissance. Our mission is to provide a healthy alternative for people who are celebrating & socializing. illemonati : Brand BRAND ‘illemonati’ parodies the cult ‘illuminati' through tongue-&-cheek references. These slides show the key points of the branding process; brainstorming names, font selection, color palette & logo development. The final logo recreates the ‘all-seeing-eye ’ via juicy rays & a lemon pupil. The squiggly text feels organic & the color yellow invokes a zesty confidence. Name Options Concept Sketches Fonts & Colors Name Options 1/4 PACKAGE illemonati : Package Bottle_Front Bottle_Side Bottle_Back Bottle_Front 1/3 The wraps graphic elements include conspiracy & pop-culture icons: a Catholic chalice, Egyptian hieroglyphs, juicy drips around the neck, a barcode resembling a pyramid, the USDA organic seal & Beyoncé’s silhouette. 666 was infused into all numerical aspects via a bottle that holds 16.66oz & the alcohol level is 6.66%.

AVANT Les Petits Enfants : Avant MotherGoose MotherGoose123 MotherGoose MotherGoose 1/3 MOTHER GOOSE Mother Goose is a fictitious character in French folklore who serves as the matriarch of this collection. The blueprint is inspired by the Freemason logo with the title spelled in abstract flames that wrap around the wings. There’s a book at the base to incite sinister stories & smaller flames complete the goose’s silhouette. ThreeBlindMice ThreeBlindMice123 ThreeBlindMice ThreeBlindMice 1/3 THREE BLIND MICE 3 Blind Mice was the original piece in this series & it resembles a Rorschach test. The inkblot outlines the silhouette of a large mouse & 2 smaller mice are infused through the whiskers. All the mice have their eyes sewn shut to further entwine the blindness & the title’s written in braille so it blends with the splatters. HumptyDumpty HumptyDumpty123 HumptyDumpty HumptyDumpty 1/3 HUMPTY DUMPTY Humpty Dumpty weaved his way into pop culture in numerous ways & in this version, he embodies death. The eggshells create the nostrils & sockets of a skull while the yolk splatters spell the title. The brick wall helps contain the top half of the images, while the letters oozing below allude to a bloody ending.

Our objective is to help artists collaborate & hone their skills in a casual yet intimate manner. BRAND AmSteg : Brand ‘Am Steg’ is a German-musical term for ‘at the bridge’ of a song. Our app intends to build bridges between people via musical expression. These slides show the key points of the branding process; brainstorming names, font selection, color palette & logo development. The final logo has a signature-ish type, with a bridge across the base, a treble note for the letter 'S' & the color orange evokes a sense of sunlit energy. Name Options Concept Sketches Fonts & Colors Name Options 1/4 UxUi AmSteg : UxUi Newsfeed displays the content created by local users & each post is differentiated with a Treble/Bass clef. Profile allows users to share their preferred instruments, skill level, musical tastes & current location. Settings have adjustable options via the drop-down menu in the top left corner. The Header icons are the key to navigating the app & the Footer icons allow users to upload/post content. NEWSFEED PROFILE SETTINGS MARKETING AmSteg : Promo The posters used in the marketing campaign appeared as ads on popular social media apps.
